Preheated oven 375ºF
2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
...
2 sticks (1 cups) of butter
3/4 cups of granulated sugar
3/4 cups of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 large eggs
2 cups of chocolate chips (one 12oz package)
Mix together the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
In a separate, larger, bowl mix together the butter, sugar and brown sugar until well mixed.
Add vanilla, mix. Then add one egg at a time, mixing in between.
Slowly add the dry ingredients while mixing. The end result should end up forming into a dough ball. Add chocolate chips.
Once all mixed, you can put it in saran wrap (cling wrap) to chill in the fridge for 2 hours. Or 20 - 30 minutes in the freezer if you're impatient.
On a cooking sheet, line it with parchment paper (if you don't have nonstick pans). Place cookie dough ball, around a tablespoon size each time, onto a cooking sheet and put into the oven for around 10 minutes.
Take out of the oven and let cool on a wire rack for two minutes, or five if on the cooking sheet.
